Green class enjoy getting stuck in in the garden!

Weeding and planting new crops to harvest next spring, Green class reflect on the importance of growing and using your own food sources.

Division became much easier when we could visualize the numbers.

Even remainders when calculating division problems made perfect sense.

Our confidence in solving division problems has grown so much that we want to share what we know with our peers at every opportunity.

Green class enjoyed an amazing trip to the Museum of London as an introduction to learning all about the Stone Age.

At the Museum of London children sketched the oldest English human skeletal remains; The Shepperton Lady.

Children were also introduced to Stone Age housing, seeing and touching the materials used to build a Roundhouse.

Enjoying our reading corner

Year 3 are very much enjoying free reading time in our reading corner. The corner has been made cosy with cushions, beanbags and curtains to encourage the children to relax and enjoy a good read. The children have also written their own summaries of books they read.
